Founded in 2008, the Sírio-Libanês Social Responsibility Institute (IRSSL) was established to strengthen the voluntary social outreach of the Sírio-Libanês Hospital Ladies’ Benevolent Society in Brazil’s public healthcare system, with the mission of bringing the administrative and operational excellence already recognized in the private sector to municipal and state levels across the country.
The Institute currently manages **13 healthcare units**: Menino Jesus Municipal Children’s Hospital, Grajaú General Hospital, Jundiaí Regional Hospital, Registro Regional Hospital, Rota dos Bandeirantes Regional Hospital (Barueri), Taipas General Hospital, Vila Penteado General Hospital, Interlagos AME, Jundiaí AME, AMAS, Free Clinic, Lia Maria Aguiar Foundation Health Center, Lucy Montoro Rehabilitation Service of Mogi Mirim.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Provide patient care in outpatient rehabilitation programs, monitoring care delivery by applying procedures and protocols defined for each patient.
* Plan nursing actions.
* Assess patient needs and problems, diagnose conditions, identify risk areas, establish priorities, develop action plans, and evaluate outcomes.
* Deliver direct patient care (including nursing procedures—especially emergencies—and administer medications requiring special controls and precautions), addressing patient needs and promptly notifying physicians or other professionals when patient conditions change.
* Work collaboratively in teams; demonstrate leadership capacity; exhibit negotiation skills.
* Implement health promotion initiatives.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team activities; develop educational materials; guide community involvement in health education; define health promotion strategies for specific situations and population groups; participate in public health campaigns; guide staff on infection control within healthcare units; participate in occupational health programs and campaigns; contribute to the development of health projects and policies.
* Provide technical supervision of nursing activities within the unit, guiding staff on correct procedure execution to ensure quality and safety of care.
* Conduct nursing consultations and attend health team meetings.
* Facilitate patient/client and family adaptation to the environment and implement educational programs to prepare them for applied therapeutic methods.
* Monitor inventory control of supplies and medications within the unit, requisitioning items from relevant departments, tracking consumption, and recording data in designated forms.
* Report adverse events and develop and implement action plans to prevent risks associated with patient care.
* Participate in institutional committees as required.
* Guide students, interns, and trainees in teaching, orientation, and theoretical-practical knowledge transfer as needed.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Completed undergraduate degree.
Registration with the respective professional regulatory council.
