Monitor the receipt of medical gases (in liquid and gaseous forms) and arrange distribution of bottled gases for use in the Unit; Track medical gas consumption across Units using spreadsheets and report findings to managers (Clinical Engineering and Unit Manager); Support installation and uninstallation of equipment; Conduct training on gas therapy equipment; Operate gas therapy equipment: flowmeters, pressure-regulating valves, alarm panels, humidifiers, nebulizers, vacuum gauges, ventilator circuits, vacuum aspirators, and air/oxygen blowers, as well as other accessories; Monitor the operation of piping networks, cylinders, central oxygen, air, and vacuum systems, verifying capacity, pressure, and proper supply; Test medical devices daily and report any abnormalities or malfunctions; Replace anesthesia machine circuits, soda lime, and clean laryngoscope blades whenever necessary; Develop and maintain an updated inventory spreadsheet of all medical equipment in the Unit, rigorously tracking all equipment entries and exits; Perform daily rounds across all departments in the Unit, recording any missing equipment or accessories, interdepartmental transfers, and reporting all incidents to the Unit Manager; Update the medical equipment spreadsheet with every entry and exit of medical equipment in the Unit; In the absence of Medical Equipment Technicians at the Unit, accompany service providers’ visits (Medical Equipment); Comply with all principles and conduct standards outlined in the SPDM Administrative Compliance Manual – Policies and Principles of Integrity; Carry out responsibilities assigned by the Institution regarding practices for personal data protection – LGPD; Perform departmental/sector activities in accordance with instructions from the immediate supervisor and institutional standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** Monitor the flow of medical gases and equipment, contribute to supply continuity, perform logistical control, and distribute these products to the Unit. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Minimum age of 18 years * Completed high school education * Completed Technical Gas Therapy course * Proven experience as a Gas Therapy Technician **Additional Information** Professionals employed by partner companies, suppliers, and/or service providers; individuals with familial or affinity ties working in the same service or under alternative contractual arrangements (e.g., contracts with service providers) must comply with current HR regulations, verified through consultation with the Recruitment and Selection Department.
