**About the position:** We are seeking a Data Scientist – Generative AI and Azure to join our team and strategically drive the development of intelligent solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence. This professional will play a pivotal role in creating, integrating, and evolving generative AI applications, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Azure AI services — from conception through to production deployment of models. L3 Eletrinos (L3 employees) are driven by continuous learning, collaboration, and ownership in their professional journeys. **Day-to-day responsibilities:** Develop and integrate Artificial Intelligence solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning. Build generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM)-based applications to solve business problems and derive value from data. Develop inference pipelines and APIs to deploy AI models into production. Work on prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval\-Augmented Generation), and embeddings for LLM-based applications. Create, train, and fine-tune Machine Learning and NLP models as needed. Implement fine\-tuning and customization of AI models according to specific business requirements. Design scalable solutions using serverless architecture and microservices on Azure. Apply MLOps practices for automation, monitoring, and versioning of models. Collaborate closely with engineering, data, and product teams to develop intelligent applications. Stay current with technological advancements in generative AI, LLMs, and Azure AI services. **Requirements:** Hard Skills Experience developing applications with generative AI and pre\-trained models (LLMs). Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, or similar services. Proficiency in Python for AI solution development. Experience with Machine Learning libraries and frameworks (Scikit\-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar). Experience integrating APIs and developing backend services for AI applications. Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or LLM-based architectures. Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, and deploying models into production. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. Soft Skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Analytical thinking, autonomy, and problem-solving focus. Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and business stakeholders. Languages Advanced English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking. **Nice-to-have:** Advanced hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI in production. Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, or other LLM orchestration frameworks. Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, pgvector, etc.). Experience designing AI application architectures on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
