Creation and optimization of machine learning models **Description:** We seek a Senior Data Science Analyst to work on developing analytical solutions focused on data. The professional will be responsible for building data pipelines, performing exploratory analyses, developing predictive models, and supporting decision-making through data-driven insights. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in data tools and programming languages who wish to take on a more strategic and technical role in advancing the data function. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop automated pipelines for data collection, processing, and analysis from diverse sources; Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency; Conduct statistical and exploratory analyses to uncover patterns and opportunities; Develop and optimize machine learning models and predictive algorithms; Document analyses, processes, and technical workflows for projects; Create and maintain business and technical documentation for the data area; Map and model internal processes for data integration and governance; Manage and maintain data tools and related systems; Provide technical support to resolve issues involving data, APIs, and integrations. JOB REQUIREMENTS **Education:** Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. **Desirable Courses / Certifications:** Data Science certification; Advanced SQL course; Training in Power BI or equivalent tool. **Technical Profile:** Proficiency in Python and SQL; Knowledge of PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL; Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB) and non-relational databases; Familiarity with Big Data tools and architectures; Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools; Understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals; Knowledge of API testing and analysis (REST, SOAP, etc.); Familiarity with flowchart creation, process mapping, and data documentation. **Personal Profile:** Analytical thinking and logical reasoning; Detail-oriented with strong focus on quality; Strong organizational and planning skills; Business acumen and ability to translate data into solutions; Clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
