**JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST** -------------------------------------------- As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for applying data analysis techniques, statistical modeling, machine learning, and big data technologies to generate valuable insights and support strategic decision-making within the company. You will work with large volumes of data, building predictive models and developing solutions that help improve company performance and customer experience. ### **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES** * Develop Predictive Models and Machine Learning Algorithms: Design and implement predictive models using advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to generate insights that optimize business processes and strategies. * Analyze Large Volumes of Data: Collect, clean, organize, and interpret large volumes of data from diverse sources using big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) and relational and non-relational databases. * Visualize and Communicate Results: Create interactive dashboards and reports to clearly and accessibly communicate analytical results to non-technical stakeholders. Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib to build visualizations that support decision-making. * Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends, formulate hypotheses, and validate them through experiments and modeling. * Support the Company’s Data Strategy: Collaborate with IT, development, and product teams to define and implement best practices in data governance, ensuring high-quality, consistent data for modeling. * Optimize Processes and Build Data-Driven Solutions: Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement based on data, creating analytical systems and tools that support continuous evolution of the company’s products or services. ### **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS** * Proven track record of applying predictive models to real-world business problems. * Experience with programming languages such as Python and R. Proficiency in SQL is also essential. * ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Ability to design and implement ETL pipelines for data collection, transformation, and loading using tools such as Apache Airflow, Luigi, or Dataiku. * Data Integration Tools: Experience with platforms such as Talend, Informatica, SSIS, or Apache NiFi for integrating data across different sources. * Computer Vision * Experience with computer vision techniques, including object detection, image segmentation, convolutional neural networks (CNN), and OpenCV. * Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch for implementing computer vision models. * SQL: Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and in data querying and modeling. * NoSQL: Familiarity with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch) for handling unstructured data. * Data Lakes and Data Warehouses: Experience with solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse for storing and analyzing large volumes of data. * Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance policies, information security, and compliance with regulations such as LGPD. * Process Automation: Experience with automation tools such as Apache NiFi to streamline and accelerate analytical processes. ### **OUR BENEFITS** * Meal Allowance / Food Voucher. * Health and Dental Insurance. * Mobility Allowance and Daycare Assistance. * Birthday Day Off. * Life Insurance.
