Job Opening – Elementary School Instructor AFESU is one of the first NGOs in Brazil dedicated to promoting women's inclusion in the labor market. We are seeking Portuguese and Mathematics Instructors (Elementary Education I and II) to prepare and deliver remedial education courses at one of our units. Responsibilities: \- Identify children's educational needs; \- Develop pedagogical materials for remedial education through workshops and playful activities for children aged 8 to 15; \- Conduct classes that foster learning experiences contributing to a better understanding of the subject matter; \- Fully participate in periods dedicated to project planning; \- Participate in the design and implementation of projects aligned with the Unit’s management; \- Attend pedagogical meetings with the Unit’s coordination and management; \- Analyze children’s learning progress, consistently identifying needs and defining actions to improve performance and development; \- Ensure children’s safety by remaining constantly alongside them during all activities, observing, guiding, and intervening when necessary; \- Closely observe attitudes and behaviors indicating abnormality in children; \- Document and report observed behaviors in children to the coordinator, ensuring parents remain informed; \- Perform tasks related to those described above, as well as any others assigned by the immediate supervisor. Requirements: \- Proven experience as an Elementary Education I and II Instructor or in a similar role; \- Experience developing educational materials; \- Ability to work on projects. Education: \- Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree; \- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Salary range: To be negotiated. Working hours: 40 hours per week.
