Proposing improvements to network security architecture We are seeking a **Senior Information Security Analyst – Firewall** to operate and maintain security solutions for strategic clients. This role focuses on the advanced administration of market-leading firewalls, directly contributing to client environments’ protection, availability, and resilience. We value diversity and encourage professional development, offering a dynamic, challenging, and continuously evolving technological environment. **Responsibilities:** * Administer and perform troubleshooting on market-leading firewalls (preferably Check Point, but also including Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Palo Alto, among others). * Configure and review security rules, access policies, network segmentation, and VPNs. * Handle network and perimeter-related security incidents, including log analysis and implementation of corrective actions. * Familiarity with WAF (Cloudflare and/or F5) is desirable. Perform updates, patches, and maintenance on security appliances. * Prepare technical and executive reports regarding the operational status of security tools. * Participate in firewall and perimeter solution implementation, migration, or expansion projects. * Continuously propose improvements to network security architecture and access policies. * Provide technical support to junior-level analysts. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. * Extensive knowledge of market-leading firewalls (Check Point, Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Palo Alto, etc.). * Advanced experience in troubleshooting network and security incidents. Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs). * Intermediate English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing). **Behavioral Competencies** * Clear communication and consultative attitude. * Organization and time management. * Critical analytical ability and systemic vision. * Teamwork, technical leadership, and collaboration. * Proactivity, autonomy, and continuous pursuit of learning. **Preferred Qualifications** * Check Point certifications (CCSA, CCSE). * Knowledge of WAF (Cloudflare or F5). * Certifications from other firewall vendors (NSE4, CCNP Security, PCNSE, etc).
