Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams ;**Job Description:** We are looking for a Senior Oracle DBA with solid experience in **Oracle environment maintenance and administration**, to strategically support database maintenance and performance. The professional will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of Oracle database systems, as well as resolving incidents, performing performance tuning, managing backups, and executing monitoring routines. **Responsibilities:** Administer and maintain Oracle environments, ensuring optimal availability and performance for critical systems. Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity. Analyze database logs and perform tuning on indexes, queries, and structures to improve performance. Collaborate closely with infrastructure and development teams to identify and resolve integration issues. Provide support for migrations, upgrades, and Oracle version maintenance. Propose and implement improvements to database administration processes. Perform preventive and corrective database maintenance, while ensuring high availability and resilience. Create and maintain technical documentation for database infrastructure. **Requirements:** Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, with focus on **maintenance of critical environments**. In-depth knowledge of **Oracle 12c, 18c, and 19c**, including administration, tuning, and backup. Experience with monitoring and performance tools (OEM, Oracle Enterprise Manager, etc.). Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL scripting for task automation and performance analysis. Experience in **RAC administration** and **Data Guard**. Knowledge of **backup and recovery**, using tools such as RMAN. Experience in **database version migration** and upgrades. Solid expertise in **high availability**, security, and disaster recovery. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills and results orientation. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. **Preferred Qualifications:** **Experience with Oracle GoldenGate** is a significant advantage. Oracle certification (OCP, OCM). Knowledge of **Oracle Exadata** and/or **Oracle Cloud**. Experience in high-availability and disaster-recovery environments.
