Location: Natal/RN Employment type: Intermittent CLT Schedule: To be defined About the position: * Inspect parts to be welded, verifying specifications, drawings, and other details, and selecting the appropriate welding method * Prepare parts for welding by applying proper surface treatment to achieve perfect welds * Finish welded parts by filing, grinding, or sanding the worked areas * Cut metal materials or parts using a cutting torch * Inspect the condition of welded components on equipment and tools, and perform preventive maintenance * Monitor usage/consumption of welding materials, recording work performed and materials consumed * Specify and request required materials * Fulfill service requests according to departmental needs * Apply 5S throughout all areas of the department * Mandatory use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) * Keep all departmental areas clean and organized * Perform all tasks with quality and caution * Prepare weekly budgets for all returned equipment * Conduct functional tests on all produced equipment * Safeguard company assets * Work area focuses on electric and pneumatic machines, generators, hydraulics, gasoline-powered equipment, and others Requirements: * Completed high school education (technical education in welding, oxy-fuel welding, electricity, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, or related fields is desirable and may be ongoing) * Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred, or proven experience * Basic knowledge of the civil construction sector will be considered an advantage.
