Service Technician PL
The Services Department is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' wind farms, guaranteeing the best performance of each turbine throughout its lifetime. The role is to ensure that turbines operate at maximum capacity, delivering optimal energy production, with a key team to maintain long-term customer loyalty. Service technicians use their skills and training to perform and maintain wind turbines. They will follow specific schedules and procedures, including safety protocols, turbine servicing and/or installation processes, and other detailed verbal or written instructions. **Responsibilities:** * Plan and execute daily work assignments based on on-site work lists and schedules for all service technicians. * Understand each work scope, read, validate, and deliver work instructions. * Assist supervisors and be responsible for verifying the availability of all necessary tools and parts prior to the actual workday, while performing periodic safety checks on equipment and tools, working synergistically with the Scheduler and Stockkeeper. * Report daily field tasks to the supervisor. * Document and communicate customer requirements or requests to the site supervisor. * Actively participate in Quality, HSE, and Environmental awareness and compliance. * Participate in daily team briefing sessions as well as adherence to site safety protocols. * Lead Junior technicians in Preventive activities, CMS Inspection, Damper Inspection, Generator Alignment, Yaw Gear Replacement, Stuffing Box, and general Troubleshootings. **Qualifications:** * Technical education in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics fields or similar courses. * Minimum of 3 years of experience working in industrial mechanical or electrical environments. * Leadership skills. * Knowledge and ability in problem-solving and decision-making tools. * Knowledge of Quality tools. * Valid driver's license. **Competencies:** * Strong understanding and commitment to the highest standards of quality, health, and safety in the workplace. * Attention to detail and precision in technical analysis. * Ability to climb wind turbines and perform physically demanding work at heights, in confined spaces, and around electricity. * Ability to analyze and assess operational risks and resolve them. * 100% availability for travel during the work period. * Team-oriented with strong communication skills across multiple stakeholders. **Summary:** Responsible for assisting the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine in food pre-preparation and preparation, food processing, and plating.
