Operational Leader \- Drying Position Description
We are looking for a committed and experienced professional to serve as an Operational Leader in the drying area. The professional will be responsible for coordinating the drying team's activities, ensuring process efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and guide the drying team
* Plan and control drying activities
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures
* Monitor team performance and propose process improvements
* Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness
* Properly operate and monitor drying equipment (Spray Drier), considering product quality
* Conduct shift handover with area supervisors and relay necessary operational and production information, along with notebook entries
* Verify temperature and quantity of stored product in tanks
* Fully complete the drying record sheet, which contains all technical and operational information for the shift and product
* Perform product moisture analyses and collect samples for quality control
* Disassemble and reassemble equipment and piping, and perform equipment cleaning and sanitization (manual and CIP), as required
* Execute daily operational cleaning procedures
* Monitor the equipment's supervisory system (SCADA)
* Calculate product flow rate and moisture content
* Inspect air compressor, chamber, cyclone, atomizer oil, and exhaust damper
* Occasionally remove bags from the bagging machine, label the bags, identify pallets, stretch-wrap, and place them in the designated location
* Submit maintenance requests and handle unexpected shutdowns.
Requirements
* Prior experience in the drying area is a plus
* Leadership and team management skills
* Knowledge of safety and quality standards
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
* Completed high school education
* Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and CCP (Critical Control Points).
