Organize products according to the store layout, guaranteeing strong visual presentation. Check product expiration dates and conditions, removing damaged or unsuitable items. Price and label merchandise, ensuring accurate information for customers. Assist in receiving and verifying incoming merchandise, checking quantity and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the department, contributing to a positive shopping experience. Support customers in locating products when necessary. Monitor department inventory levels and report replenishment needs. Follow safety regulations and internal procedures to ensure smooth store operations. Contribute to the organization and efficiency of customer service and the sales area. Previous experience as a Stock Clerk, Sales Assistant, Store Operator, or Merchandising Assistant may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities in this position.
