Requirements: High school diploma, experience in auto centers, and excellent customer service **We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic Assistant for Toledo, PR.** **Reporting to the area manager, your responsibilities will include:** * Assisting in preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance of vehicles; * Assisting in assembly of brake, suspension, clutch, fuel injection, electronic, air conditioning cleaning/maintenance, and repair systems; * Assisting in tire, timing belt, clutch, spark plug, exhaust, pivot, oil and filter replacement (routine maintenance), electronic fuel injection, and leak repair installations; * Assisting with scanner diagnostics and other tasks as requested or per scheduled maintenance plans; * Assisting in inspection and testing of parts and assemblies before installation on vehicles; * Requesting replacement parts and auxiliary materials required to perform services; * Performing other related duties as required by the department. **Requirements** * Completed or currently pursuing a technical course in automotive mechanics; * Driver's license category B is a plus; * Experience in auto centers — this role focuses on suspension and brake systems, not engine mechanics; * Ability to work effectively in a team; * Strong communication skills, organization, and proactivity; * Must deliver excellent customer service, demonstrating willingness to assist customers with any questions.
