This role requires a highly skilled network professional with deep expertise in **Cisco technologies** and **enterprise network architecture**, as well as strong understanding of **modern cloud networking and automation practices**. You will work collaboratively with a distributed, international team responsible for maintaining, improving, and securing the company’s global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is hands\-on, detail\-oriented, and capable of owning their responsibilities from design through execution. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on **Cisco systems and architecture**. * Manage routing, switching, VPNs, and network segmentation across global offices and cloud environments. * Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of network operations. * Collaborate with global IT and Security teams to maintain compliance and best practices. * Support integration and interconnectivity between **on\-premises and cloud environments** (Azure and/or AWS). * Manage and maintain **firewalls**, primarily **Cisco ASA, Palo Alto,** and **Checkpoint** systems. * Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, latency, and connectivity issues. * Document network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automation efforts in networking and infrastructure. * Ensure network design and operations align with compliance frameworks such as **SOC 2 Type 2** and **ISO 27001**. **Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum **5\+ years** in enterprise networking, with a focus on architecture and operations. * **Technical Expertise:** * Advanced knowledge of **Cisco** technologies (routing, switching, VPN, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, etc.). * Strong understanding of **network design principles** and enterprise\-level architectures. * Experience with **Checkpoint, Palo Alto,** and **firewall management**. * Familiarity with **Azure Networking**, **AWS VPCs**, **site\-to\-site VPNs**, and **hybrid cloud** connectivity. * Understanding of **virtualization**, **VMs**, and **Infrastructure as Code** concepts. * Experience with **network monitoring**, **automation**, and **scripting tools** is a plus. * Awareness of **security standards** and **compliance frameworks** (SOC 2, ISO 27001\). * **Soft Skills:** * Excellent communication skills in **English** (spoken and written). * Strong ownership and accountability \- able to work independently with minimal supervision. * Organized, analytical thinker with a proactive and innovative mindset. * Comfortable working in a **remote, global team environment**. **Why Join CAI Software** * Join a **globally distributed IT team** supporting a growing international company. * Work with modern, enterprise\-grade networking and cloud technologies. * 100% remote work model with international collaboration. * Opportunity to lead and innovate in a technically challenging and supportive environment.
