Job Description \-You will be responsible for supervising the Geotechnical Mining area, managing personnel and material resources, following the company’s policies and procedures, ensuring quality and safety for drilling, geotechnical consulting, and projects. **Key responsibilities include:** * Assist in managing area contracts (e.g., drilling, geotechnical consulting, and projects); * Validation of Pit Layout; * Supervision of Slope Safety Factors; * Execution of monitoring activities in areas (slope angle, piezometric level, and streamflow); * Biweekly geotechnical inspections of water reservoirs, ore dust, waste dumps, slag, and industrial plant slopes (monthly); * Ensure Risk Assessment (ART) is conducted for routine and non-routine tasks, considering task details, potential undesired events, and required controls; * Discuss and communicate these assessments to individuals involved in the respective activities; * Take responsibility for the quality of risk assessments to ensure they are adequate and sufficient; * Share and discuss hazardous conditions, undesired events, and control measures during safety talks, based on existing risk analyses; * Assist in preparing the mine operation’s annual budget and investment plan by collecting data and completing spreadsheets to ensure efficient financial resource management; * People management and performance evaluation of direct reports (using Anglo’s evaluation model), request training and technical visits (via specific forms), and deliver operational training (according to the sector’s procedures manual), ensuring necessary feedback and skill development. Qualifications * \-Completed Technical Education in Mining or a Higher Education degree in related fields (civil engineering, geology, or mining engineering); * Desirable strong knowledge in Geotechnics; * Desirable proficiency in design software (Datamine, Minesight, Deswik, AutoCAD, Leapfrog); * Active CRT, CFT, or CREA registration (or availability for activation); * Intermediate-level Office Suite skills; * Valid Brazilian driver's license (Category B). **Additional Information \-Why join our team?** We are a company committed to making our beliefs and values a reality.
