Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence **Join Us as a Maintenance Planner** **PURPOSE OF THE ROLE** Ensure **maximum reliability, availability, and performance of factory assets**, through structured planning of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Unilever’s safety, quality, and sustainability standards. Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to **reduce unplanned downtime**, optimize resources, monitor key performance indicators (MTBF, MTTR, Backlog, Plan Compliance), and foster a culture of continuous improvement, supporting operational excellence and achievement of the factory’s productivity targets. Because here, we don’t just hire for roles — we invite you to be part of something bigger. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Work jointly with the Maintenance Coordinator to implement the Maintenance Management System; * Continuously improve SHE & Q Management Systems (Standard Framework) for Unilever Garanhuns Factory, and all corporate policies of the Company, translating them into procedures and practices to be followed by all employees; * Ensure application of PSM – Combustible Dust concepts in production activities and processes; * Participate in risk analyses (Risk Analysis, HAZOP, DHA, What-If) with support from SHE; * Responsible for Planning, Scheduling, and Control of Maintenance activities within assigned areas, based on Work Orders and pre-defined, validated resources, coordinated with interfacing departments involved in maintenance execution; * Proactively plan CBM/TBM maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with supply requirements for resources, materials, and services needed for execution; * Manage Work Order execution KPIs, reporting plan adherence rates, emergency SHE tags, and Kaizens; * Improve site maintenance plans; * Responsible for detailing Corrective Work Orders and Maintenance Plans with all required resources and data, including procedures for execution; * Maintain updated master data and maintenance history; * Serve as interface between warehouse and assigned areas, placing purchase orders when necessary or upon request from the Maintenance Coordinator, with prior validation of service budgets or procurement of parts required for equipment maintenance; * Manage spare parts not held in inventory; * Monitor daily maintenance costs for assigned areas, breaking down and analyzing by service type and parts consumption, regularly reporting major cost impacts to the Maintenance Coordinator; * Support the Maintenance Coordinator with inputs from respective areas to develop multi-year spending plans; * Stratify largest maintenance expenditures by area, machine, and component; * Participate in production planning meetings, providing maintenance inputs from assigned areas; * Lead the weekly maintenance/manufacturing alignment meeting; * Participate with technical teams in Failure Analysis reviews for assigned areas; * Review and/or incorporate improvements identified in Failure Analysis (EWO) into Maintenance Plans. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. * Proven experience with packaging machinery. * Proven experience in maintenance. * Strong interpersonal skills. **PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS** * Ability to exercise indirect leadership and influence in multicultural environments. **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION** Garanhuns Factory – PE, full-time, administrative hours, on-site basis; At Unilever, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.
