More than developing technology, we build responsible solutions grounded in strategic vision and commitment to results. **Remote | Full-time (08:00 to 17:00) | CLT** We seek a **Mid-to-Senior QA Engineer** to **launch and structure a new mobile automation project**, with strong emphasis on **mobile test automation using Robot Framework + Appium**, and building a **Device Farm**. There will be interlinked Web and Mobile automation projects requiring constant communication, technical alignment, and continuous collaboration among QA, development, and product teams to ensure consistent, high-quality software delivery. This role plays a pivotal part in **building the quality strategy**, defining technical standards, and disseminating best practices within the team. **Responsibilities:** * Lead the **mobile project kickoff**, defining test strategy, automation architecture, standards, and best practices; * Plan, create, and execute **manual and automated tests** for **mobile (Android)** and **web** applications; * Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests using **Robot Framework**, with primary focus on **Appium**; * Ensure communication and integration between mobile and web automation tests across different browsers; * Collaborate closely with the web team to ensure consistent quality across interconnected systems; * Create and maintain test cases, BDD scenarios, acceptance criteria, and quality checklists; * Apply **BDD and Gherkin**, collaborating with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders; * Execute functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end validation tests; * Work alongside developers to prevent defects, continuously improve quality, and enhance system testability; * Conduct **code reviews** of automated tests; * Support and evolve **CI/CD pipelines**, including execution of automated tests; * Log, track, and validate bug fixes using **Jira**; * Propose continuous improvements to testing processes, tools, and strategies; * Conduct knowledge transfer and support interns and junior QAs, especially in automation contexts. **Technical Requirements:** * Experience as a **Mid-level QA Engineer**; * Minimum **3 years of experience in mobile automation using Appium + Robot Framework**; * Solid experience with **manual and automated testing**; * Knowledge and hands-on experience with **BDD and Gherkin**; * Proficiency in best practices for manual and automated testing; * Experience with web automation using **Robot Framework**; * Experience with source code versioning (**Git / Bitbucket**) and **code review**; * Knowledge of **design patterns applied to automation** (Page Object, layered architecture, keyword reuse); * Experience with **CI/CD**, including automated test execution in pipelines; * Experience with **Jira** for demand management, bug tracking, and test progress monitoring; * Knowledge of **API testing**, including contract validation and functional endpoint testing; * Experience with **Postman** for manual and automated testing; * Database knowledge, including basic queries (SELECT, JOIN, INSERT) and post-execution data validation; * Knowledge of load and performance testing, understanding concepts of stress, load, and volume, with basic result analysis; * Familiarity with Android environments: emulators, physical devices, and device farms; * Experience with **Agile methodologies** (Scrum or Kanban). **Nice-to-Have:** * Experience building automation from scratch; * Experience executing automated tests on **physical Android devices** (tablets and smartphones), including setup, connection, stability, and execution outside emulators; * Experience with integration testing between web and mobile systems; * Experience with performance testing tools; * Knowledge of quality metrics and test indicators; * Prior experience as a **technical reference** for other QAs.
