Supplier management and market analysis General Description Responsible for planning, executing, and controlling the company's procurement process, ensuring continuous supply, optimal commercial terms, product/service quality, and alignment with business strategy. Main Responsibilities and Activities * Identify procurement needs in collaboration with internal departments (production, maintenance, sales, projects, administration). * Conduct quotations, comparative analyses, and negotiations with suppliers. * Develop, qualify, and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers. * Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery timelines. * Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, freight, and warranties. * Review supply contracts and support renewals. * Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishments. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements (compliance), and established processes. * Evaluate supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost, and service). * Pursue cost reduction and savings opportunities. * Track procurement key performance indicators (KPIs). * Support internal and external audits. * Collaborate with logistics to optimize freight and delivery timelines. * Record and maintain updated data in the ERP/procurement system. * Analyze market trends, pricing, and availability. * Manage domestic procurement and, where applicable, imports. Technical Requirements * Prior experience in procurement. * Knowledge of negotiation and cost analysis. * Familiarity with ERP systems. * Intermediate/advanced Excel skills. * Knowledge of contract and supplier management. * Basic understanding of logistics, taxes, and freight (preferred).
