Join us too! **Opportunity:** Occupational Safety Technician **Summary of Responsibilities:** Ensure that D'GRANEL's facilities and equipment comply with occupational safety regulations; verify and enhance employee training programs, supervise the proper use of PPE, and adhere to relevant occupational safety legislation. **Responsibilities:** * Record workplace accidents, specifying time, severity, and other relevant data in designated internal forms; * Propose accident prevention measures to D'GRANEL's management and inform them of potential risk conditions so that corrective actions can be taken to eliminate/minimize accidents; * Enforce applicable legislation, especially the PPRA (Program for Prevention of Environmental Hazards) and PCMSO (Occupational Health Monitoring Program); * Inspect the company's production areas to identify hazardous conditions and verify workers' correct use of PPE; * Conduct periodic inspections of all fire extinguishers in the company and request replacement or recharging from the responsible department when necessary; * Advise workers on existing hazards in their work areas; * Conduct occupational safety training sessions; * Promote the creation of safety-related informational notices and forward them to the responsible department for dissemination; * Investigate workplace accidents, identify and assess root causes, and propose preventive measures; * Maintain ongoing communication with the CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention), fully leveraging its observations, while supporting, training, and responding to it as required by NR-5\.
