Supervision of events and assurance of compliance with regulations A venue for events and conventions in Belo Horizonte seeks an Occupational Safety Technician. **Responsibilities:** Comprehensively manage the company's occupational safety process in accordance with current legislation. Develop and implement occupational health and safety guidelines, conducting audits, monitoring, and assessments in this area. Identify variables affecting disease control, accident prevention, quality of life, and environmental protection, and promote occupational health and safety education. Participate in expert inspections and regulatory supervision, while adopting technologies and work processes related to safety. Manage documentation pertinent to occupational health and safety, investigate and analyze accidents, and recommend preventive and control measures. Plan and deliver team training based on identified needs, and manage the procurement of additional courses, such as fire brigade training, emergency plan development, and specialized training. Supervise fire extinguisher recharging, hose retesting, and alarm system testing, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations. Supervise event setup, execution, and dismantling, interrupting any activities noncompliant with regulations and reviewing event-related safety documentation. Previous experience as an Occupational Safety Specialist, Safety Coordinator, Risk Analyst, or Safety Supervisor may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position.
