About the position: What does a Finished Goods Warehouse Assistant do? The Finished Goods Warehouse Assistant ensures finished products are correctly collected from production, systematically stored, and accurately picked per shipping orders—guaranteeing inventory accuracy and material integrity throughout the entire logistics process. Key Responsibilities: Finished Goods Collection: * Retrieve finished products from the production line according to internal scheduling; * Verify items against production orders or picking lists; * Ensure correct product identification (labels, batch numbers, and mandatory information). Storage: * Assign locations and store products in appropriate areas; * Follow organizational criteria, stacking guidelines, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and safety regulations. Order Picking for Shipment: * Pick products according to loading orders; * Verify quantities, product types, and specifications against invoices or shipping orders. Loading Support: * Organize materials in the shipping area to optimize loading; * Assist forklift operators or drivers when necessary; * Ensure proper cargo placement in vehicles to prevent damage. Inventory Control: * Record product inflows and outflows in systems (ERP, WMS, or spreadsheets); * Contribute to inventory accuracy; * Report discrepancies, losses, or non-conformities to supervisors. Workplace Stewardship: * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; * Comply with occupational health and safety regulations and internal company guidelines.
