Ensure software quality and anticipate risks **Job Description** This position requires on-site work in Contagem, MG. **Who will you work with?** The Integration Department is responsible for ensuring that the three main phases (listed below) of each project are completed with quality and within the proposed timeline. The open position covers all three project-phase characteristics under the responsibility of the Integration Department, known as Integrated Testing. These phases are: * Providing requirements as inputs so that all engineering segments can plan and execute their functions, delivering their outputs in accordance with the solution proposed to the client. * Guiding each engineering segment during product development (PTC Solution). * Integrated Testing: Testing all deliverables to ensure each part of the solution behaves according to the requirements established for each project. **How will you make a difference?** As part of the Integration Department, the Integration Analyst will consolidate system requirements based on information gathered from customers and development teams. Improve and implement solutions in software architecture. Prepare necessary artifacts for proper documentation of integrated testing, aiming to validate the proposed software architecture. Analyze bugs and defects to identify possible root causes and guide development teams in seeking corrections. Supervise and support product deployment and maintenance. **What do we want to know about you?** * Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or related fields. * Prior experience in Railway Operations. * Advanced English communication skills. * Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio). * Experience developing system test plans. * Experience creating test cases. * Knowledge of programming languages. * Familiarity with agile methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban, and others. * Knowledge of computer networks. * Windows operating systems. **What will your day-to-day look like?** * Work autonomously within the scope of Wabtec Brasil’s Integration Segment (Juiz de Fora\-MG). * Lead projects (test lifecycle) in Brazil, India, and the United States. * Develop and review complex test plans and scenarios for qualification of PTC (Positive Train Control) software and system components. * Execute and monitor PTC system test procedures. * Ensure the quality of software delivered by the Integration Lab, anticipating risks and proposing improvements. * Configure, operate, and maintain existing simulators in the PTC Integration Test Lab. * Identify, analyze, and guide corrections of failures in the PTC system, logging occurrences in test tools. * Generate detailed test reports and support leadership in decision-making. * Estimate work effort and support team activity planning. * Support and mentor less experienced colleagues, reinforcing a culture of continuous learning. * Assist in maintaining (predictive/corrective) the PTC Integration Test Lab. * Communicate defects found during testing to developers. * Automate processes to streamline work within the scope of the Integration Department. **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
