Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead the team, ensure service excellence, and maintain operational efficiency in the food service sector. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for an **Assistant Restaurant Manager** with **proven experience in the foodservice/gastronomy industry** to join our leadership team. The candidate will serve as the General Manager’s right-hand person, working directly on the shop floor (dining area and kitchen) to ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, and team motivation during daily operations. **Key Responsibilities** * **Operational Management:** Monitor and ensure smooth service flow (dining area, bar, and kitchen coordination) during peak shifts. * **Team Leadership:** Support training, motivation, staff scheduling, and daily supervision of team members (servers, cashiers, attendants, and support staff). * **Quality and Standards Control:** Ensure strict compliance with hygiene standards, food safety regulations (ANVISA), personal appearance, and dish/beverage presentation standards. * **Inventory and Supply Management:** Assist in inventory counts, waste control, goods receipt, and verification of deliveries with suppliers. * **Customer Service and Retention:** Handle sensitive situations, manage complaints, and ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. * **Opening and Closing Procedures:** Responsible for opening/closing routines, including cash handling and operational checklist verification. **Mandatory Requirements** * **Proven experience** in leadership roles within the out-of-home food industry (e.g., Assistant Restaurant Manager, Shift Supervisor, Maître, Head Waiter, or Restaurant/Café/Bar Supervisor). * Strong leadership skills, clear communication, and people management abilities in fast-paced environments. * Practical knowledge of food safety and sanitary inspection regulations. * Flexible availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. * Quick problem-solving ability and a proactive, hands\-on attitude. **Preferred Qualifications** * Degree in Gastronomy, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related fields. * Familiarity with restaurant management systems. * Prior experience in cost control (COGS) and staff scheduling. **What We Offer** * **Salary:** Market-competitive \+ performance-based bonus. * **Benefits:** On-site meals, Transportation Allowance. * **Work Schedule:** 6x1 (one weekly day off plus one Sunday per month). * A dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
