This role plays a key part in generating strategic insights by connecting trends, market data, and intellectual property information with business decision-making. Additionally, you will support open innovation initiatives and monitor the evolution of our project portfolio. Main Responsibilities – Market Technology Intelligence * Map and monitor market, technology, and regulatory trends * Consolidate insights from reports, events, and public sources * Track competitor activities * Support materials and analyses for the Innovation Committee Technological Radar – Intellectual Property * Conduct technology and patent searches * Identify technologies and patents relevant to the business * Support internal teams in prioritizing opportunities * Generate inputs for new projects and the evolution of the R&D&I portfolio Open Innovation * Manage the flow of proposals through the innovation portal * Evaluate solutions from startups and suppliers * Connect external opportunities with internal needs * Support engagement with the innovation ecosystem Innovation Portfolio Management * Monitor project progress * Track timelines and performance indicators * Support analysis of results and impact * Contribute to the development of presentations and materials Candidate Profile We seek a candidate who is: * Analytical, with strong ability to transform data into clear, actionable insights * Curious and investigative, with genuine interest in technology and innovation * Organized and structured, with solid capacity to manage multiple concurrent demands * Skilled in communication, capable of translating technical topics into accessible language * Able to navigate across different departments and organizational levels Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Law (with focus on Intellectual Property), or related fields * Advanced English (proficiency in reading and producing technical reports) * Experience or familiarity with data, market, or technology analysis * Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities Preferred Qualifications * Postgraduate degree or specialization in Innovation, Technology, or Intellectual Property * Knowledge of Intellectual Property (INPI, WIPO, etc.) * Experience with patent analysis and tools such as Orbit (Questel) * Background in mining, metallurgy, or base industries * Prior experience in open innovation or innovation portfolio management What You’ll Get * Close alignment with the company's innovation strategy * Exposure to technological trends and high-impact decision-making * Collaborative and multidisciplinary environment * Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development * **On-site position in Belo Horizonte**
