The Intermediate Metalworker is responsible for fabricating mechanical protections using metals and stainless steel, assembling and repairing metallic structures, and other metal products. Additionally, they must interpret technical drawings, use appropriate tools and equipment, and ensure the quality and safety of manufactured parts. * Interpret technical drawings to fabricate metallic structures, doors, windows, grilles, handrails, and mechanical protections using metals, stainless steel, and other metal products. * Measure, cut, bend, and weld metallic materials according to technical specifications. * Safely and efficiently use manual and electric tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment. * Assemble and install fabricated products, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and finishing. * Repair damaged metallic structures by replacing components and performing necessary adjustments. * Inspect the quality of materials used to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards. * Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations. * Collaborate with the work team, sharing knowledge and experience to continuously improve operations. * Ensure individual and collective safety by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety procedures.
