Assist the pizzaiolo in pizza preparation and assembly, following recipes and quality standards. Organize and maintain a clean kitchen, including utensils, countertops, and equipment. Support proper ingredient storage, ensuring hygiene and shelf life. Restock ingredients and supplies during preparation to avoid service delays. Assist at the oven when necessary, monitoring pizza cooking time and temperature. Follow hygiene, food safety, and PPE usage guidelines. Record product incidents, waste, or restocking needs. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient pizza preparation and delivery. Follow instructions and standards set by the pizzaiolo or head chef. Previous experience as a Pizza Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Aide, or Junior Pizzaiolo may indicate suitability for some of the duties in this position. High school diploma required.
