Technical expertise in automation** * Experience with web test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress). * Knowledge of API automation (e.g., Postman/Newman, RestAssured, Karate, SuperTest). **2. Programming** * Proficiency in a **programming language** (Java). Ability to write clean, version-controlled code applying testing design patterns (e.g., Page Objects, Screenplay, etc.). * **3. QA and testing practices** * Solid knowledge of **testing techniques**: functional, regression, integration, exploratory, UAT. * Knowledge of **automated testing strategies**: UI, API, contract testing, load testing. Ability to analyze risks and prioritize tests. * **4. CI/CD experience** * Integration of tests into pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Familiarity with parallel execution and pipeline runtime optimization. * **5. Quality culture** * Mindset focused on **defect prevention**, not just detection. * Active participation in **backlog refinement**, discussing requirements and acceptance criteria. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers, Product Owners, and product teams. * **6. Test architecture and infrastructure knowledge** * Use of mocks/stubs, isolated environments, and containers (Docker). * Knowledge of databases and test data management. Basic understanding of version control (Git). * **7. Soft Skills** * Critical and analytical thinking. * Attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture. * Proactivity in suggesting process and quality improvements. * Organization and documentation of tests. Strong written and verbal communication skills. * **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6). * Experience with a second programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, Ruby, etc.). * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). * Knowledge of BDD (Cucumber, Behave). * Experience with observability and logging (Elastic, Grafana, Kibana). * Experience building automation frameworks from scratch. **Work Location:** Geração Digital – Av.
