Focus on machine safety and regulatory standards (NR-10, NR-12) \\Job Description\\\Ensure the \availability, reliability, and safety of industrial automation systems\ (PLCs, industrial networks, and supervisory systems) at an automotive manufacturing plant, performing \corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance, as well as continuous improvement projects\ on assembly lines.\\\\Main Responsibilities\\\\\PLC programming and tuning\ (Siemens, Rockwell or equivalents), including:\\\\Analysis, correction, and optimization of control logic.\\\\Configuration of frequency inverters, soft\-starters, and I/O modules.\\\\\\\Supervisory systems and HMIs\:\\\\Screen configuration, tuning, and alarm handling.\\\\Integration among PLCs, HMIs, and plant-wide supervisory systems.\\\\\\\Corrective Maintenance\:\\\\Responding to failures in automated equipment (conveyors, manipulators, devices, robotic cells, etc.).\\\\Root cause diagnosis (electrical/electronic/automation-related) and rapid restoration of operations.\\\\\\\Preventive and Predictive Maintenance\:\\\\Execution of maintenance plans for electrical panels, PLCs, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.\\\\Support for inspections using analytical tools (thermal imaging, vibration analysis, recurrent failure analysis).\\\\Technical documentation of interventions and updating of maintenance history records in the maintenance management system.\\\\\\\Projects and Continuous Improvements\:\\\\Participate in reliability studies and initiatives to reduce assembly line downtime.\\\\Propose and implement hardware and software improvements to automation systems.\\\\Support commissioning of new equipment and process changes.\\\\\\\Safety, Environment, and Quality\:\\\\Comply with \machine safety standards, NR\-10, NR\-12, and GM internal procedures\.\\\\Maintain organization and safety of electrical panels and technical areas (5S methodology).\\\\Contribute to process stability and final product quality.\\\\\\\\&\#xa;\&\#xa;\&\#xa;\&\#xa;\\About GM\\\Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all.\\\\\Why Join Us \\\We believe we all must make a choice every day – individually and collectively – to drive meaningful change through our words, our deeds and our culture.
