




Job Summary: The Production Assistant will support and perform operational activities in the Receiving, Drying, and Threshing processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with quality standards. The Production Assistant will be responsible for supporting and performing operational activities in the Receiving, Drying, and Threshing processes, ensuring all steps are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with the company's established quality standards. This position is essential to ensure final product quality, productive process efficiency, and compliance with operational and corporate requirements. **Responsibilities** * Assist in preparing, organizing, and executing all steps of the Receiving process, from unloading to delivering ears into drying chambers. * Monitor cleaning processes, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. * Operate equipment and conduct activities related to ear receiving, adhering to safety regulations, technical standards, and internal procedures. * Perform quality control of seeds at various process stages, identifying deviations and supporting corrective actions. * Monitor and record operational and production conditions, reporting information to the Process Leader. * Maintain cleanliness, organization, and standardization of production areas per established procedures. * Support inventory control of materials, inputs, and resources used in the department. * Collaborate with the team to meet production targets, seeking reduction of losses and elimination of waste. * Directly engage in **Drying and Threshing** processes, ensuring productive flow meets defined standards. * Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively act to meet departmental targets. * Support shift leaders in organizing activities and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. * Ensure accurate and precise completion of worksheets, reports, and production controls, guaranteeing data integrity and reliability. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Prior experience in production processes, preferably in agricultural, industrial, or corn seed production sectors. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. * Ability to operate industrial equipment and processes. * Commitment to quality, safety, and results. * Analytical capability for process optimization. * Availability to work rotating shifts and schedules as required by production needs. * Strong communication skills, proactivity, organization, and ability to work effectively in teams. **Technical Skills** * Prior experience in an industrial environment. **Behavioral Competencies:** Critical thinking and effective time management.
