**Responsibilities and duties**
* Responsible for performing mechanical maintenance activities at the hydroelectric power plant, aiming to optimize plant performance with efficiency, quality, safety, and sustainability;
* Will perform maintenance on critical equipment, directly contributing to the operational reliability of the facility;
* The professional will carry out routine tasks and activities related to Operation and Maintenance at UHE Salto do Rio Verdinho, Itarumã/GO;
* Execute inspection and testing services for preventive, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance of main and auxiliary equipment;
* Contribute to diagnosing the performance of mechanical equipment in the plant and substation by conducting inspections, collecting, and analyzing equipment data, assisting in equipment replacement, service contracting, and commissioning and testing follow-up;
* Specify mechanical materials, prepare technical specifications, and issue purchase requisitions;
* Interpret equipment manuals, drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams to identify possible abnormalities and/or improvements;
* Complete Work Orders in the Maintenance Management System (SAP\-PM) to maintain equipment history by recording and controlling maintenance activity information;
* Prepare spreadsheets, reports, drawings, or projects using appropriate technical resources and language;
* Report facility incidents to immediate supervisors through clear and objective communication, including critical analysis;
* Demonstrate good interpersonal skills, initiative, proactiveness, organization, flexibility, resilience, and responsibility.
**Requirements and qualifications** **REQUIRED:**
* Completed Technical Education in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering;
* Professional registration (CFT);
* Driver's license Category “B”;
* Proficiency in Office suite;
* Knowledge of SAP.
**DESIRED:**
* Experience in MIG/TIG and electrode welding;
* Experience in hydroelectric power plants.
