Perform API testing and basic database validation using SQL **Job Summary** We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual Testing and a good understanding of Automation Testing concepts. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in testing web and/or mobile applications, preparing test artifacts, executing test cases, and collaborating with development and business teams to ensure high\-quality software delivery. **Key Responsibilities** Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases. Perform various types of manual testing including Functional, Regression, System, Integration, UAT, and Smoke Testing. Execute test cases, log defects, track them to closure, and work closely with developers for resolution. Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy preparation. Review and validate requirements from a QA perspective to identify gaps and ambiguities. Perform API testing and basic database validation using SQL. Understand automation frameworks and scripts; assist in identifying test cases for automation. Work with automation engineers to support script development and execution. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand\-ups, retrospectives, and defect triage. Prepare test reports, metrics, and quality status dashboards. Required Skills 5\+ years of experience in Manual Testing of web and/or mobile applications. Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing. Hands\-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, X ray , etc.). Good understanding of Automation Testing concepts and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar). Basic knowledge of any programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.). Experience in API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI). Working knowledge of SQL for data validation. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
