




Job Description - Occupational Safety Technician Supervise activities related to workplace safety, aiming to ensure conditions that eliminate or minimize the risk of work-related accidents, while observing compliance with all applicable legislation. Responsibilities: Conduct inspections at workplaces, identifying hazardous conditions, taking all necessary measures to eliminate risky situations, as well as training and raising employee awareness regarding safe work practices. Develop occupational safety training programs, including awareness campaigns and dissemination of safety standards, aiming to foster a preventive attitude among employees toward workplace safety. Determine the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by workers, as well as recommend and inspect fire protection equipment when required by conditions, aiming to reduce risks to worker safety and physical integrity. Collaborate in projects involving building modifications or new company installations, aiming to create safer working conditions. Investigate and analyze the causes of occupational diseases and the environmental conditions under which they occurred, taking legally required actions to prevent recurrence and correct unhealthy conditions causing these illnesses. Promote campaigns, lectures, and other forms of training to disseminate occupational safety and hygiene regulations, as well as to inform and raise awareness among workers about unhealthy, dangerous, and strenuous activities, monitoring and evaluating training and outreach activities. Supervise cafeteria, security, and reception services, aiming to ensure good service for internal staff and visitors. Distribute personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as recommend and inspect fire protection equipment when required by conditions, aiming to reduce risks to worker safety and physical integrity. Collaborate with CIPA in its programs, studying their observations and proposals, aiming to adopt corrective and preventive solutions for work accidents. Collect and study statistics on work accidents, occupational and work-related diseases, analyzing their causes and severity, aiming to implement preventive measures. Develop plans to control the effects of disasters, creating conditions for firefighting and rescuing victims of any type of accident. Prepare admission and routine training programs on occupational safety, including awareness initiatives and dissemination of safety rules and procedures, aiming to develop a preventive attitude among employees regarding workplace safety. Provide support to SIPAT, organizing necessary activities and resources. Evaluate cases of work-related accidents, accompanying the injured worker to receive appropriate medical care.
