Development of basic laboratory concepts and chemical handling **Laboratory Assistant** **Summary:** Support activities in the mining laboratory **Responsibilities:** * Receive, identify, and organize ore and solution samples for analysis. * Prepare samples through drying, crushing, grinding, and homogenization. * Assist technicians with routine laboratory analyses and material preparation. * Perform cleaning, organization, and maintenance of glassware, equipment, and workbenches. * Support the preparation of simple reagents and separation of materials for analyses. * Control and organize laboratory materials and supplies. * Assist in sample collection from operational areas when required. * Properly dispose of laboratory waste in accordance with safety regulations. * Comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures in laboratory activities. * Other duties related to the area. **Education:** * Completed High School **Experience:** * Experience in laboratories, industry, or operational support roles is a plus. **Technical Competencies:** * Basic laboratory knowledge * Sample preparation and organization * Use and maintenance of laboratory glassware and utensils * Material organization and control * Basic knowledge of chemical handling safety **Behavioral Competencies:** * Organization * Attention to detail * Operational discipline * Responsibility * Teamwork * Commitment to safety Join our team: visit our job page Grupo Sollo and apply!
