**About the Area:**
* Sourcing, selection, contracting, and management of Embraer’s indirect materials and services, with global scope.
**Responsibilities and Duties** **Your Day-to-Day Will Include:**
* Establishing local and category-specific (Capex, Consumables, OPEX, CAPEX, MROs, etc.) procurement strategies, leveraging Global Sourcing tools.
* Continuously improving quality and service levels while reducing costs for Services and Materials, ensuring market competitiveness and alignment with Embraer’s strategic plan.
* Improving Embraer’s cash flow through renegotiation of payment terms with the global supplier base.
* Developing the Procurement team, ensuring adequate expertise in the specific categories supported by the area.
* Driving team engagement and motivation, aligned with company challenges and priorities.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **To succeed in this role, you must have:**
* Bachelor’s degree.
* Fluent English.
* Relationship Management – Experience in client relationship management, handling relationships at all levels—both external clients and internal stakeholders.
* Leadership – Experience leading and developing team members.
* Technology – Experience with aviation- and procurement-related systems, including ERP/MRP, supplier management, procurement marketplaces, and the Procure-to-Pay process. Experience partnering with Finance to ensure efficient processing—from goods acquisition and receipt through to payment.
* Process Improvement – Experience developing, communicating, and implementing process improvement initiatives.
* Savings and Cost Avoidance – Experience negotiating commercial terms, tracking and delivering hard and soft savings. Active leadership in coaching team members on negotiation methodologies.
* Risk Management – Experience analyzing and contributing to contractual terms to minimize organizational risk and uphold best business practices.
* Supplier Management – Experience managing supplier performance and relationships.
* Market and Contracting Model Knowledge, considering market conditions and product/service categories (Capex, consumables, Opex, MRO).
* Sourcing Tools Knowledge.
* Procurement, Negotiation, and Contract Management Process Knowledge.
* Ability to operate in high-performance environments with strong influence in decision-making processes.
* Ability to coordinate meetings and workshops in multicultural settings.
* Ability to propose and implement diverse approaches and alternatives for Business Units, focused on problem resolution.
* Cost Analysis knowledge, including Cost Analysis, Cost Breakdown, Should Cost, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for services and products within Indirect Procurement scope.
* Logistics Processes knowledge.
* Continuous Improvement Tools knowledge (e.g., Kaizen, Yokoten).
* Multitasking, flexible, and dynamic profile.
