




Job Description: For this role, you must have: * A completed bachelor’s degree (degree certificate or diploma required) in Engineering; * Advanced English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking; * Understanding of product structure; * Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, stamping, plastic injection, electronics, composite materials, assembly, forging, casting, etc.) and industrial costing; * Knowledge of and ability to apply the Should-Cost methodology, hourly rate development, and breakdown analysis. You will stand out if you have: * Project management certification aligned with best practices. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Performing Should-Cost analyses based on engineering data; * Conducting Should-Cost analyses for services, repairs, and non-aircraft components; * Leading supplier visits and workshops across the company to achieve economic, technical, and lead-time improvements; * Developing theoretical production routings for parts to support cost analyses; * Analyzing and monitoring costs and investments, as well as technical/financial feasibility, for internalization projects and/or supplier-related projects, interfacing with other departments (Procurement / Logistics / Production / Quality / Engineering / Sites / Suppliers) across the company; * Developing hourly rates based on machine data, direct and indirect labor, and location; * Evaluating supplier bill-of-materials (BOM) breakdowns; * Analyzing Embraer product competitiveness; * Applying Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) perspective—part/service cost, logistics, warranty, aftermarket, etc.; * Leading Make-vs.-Buy analyses to support strategic company decisions; * Building a technical database for reference; * Setting cost targets for new developments/products based on engineering data; * Assessing design changes, plant modifications, and process changes per technical department inputs; * Performing part teardowns. 2512140202201920283
