Assess and size locations for the installation of refrigeration, heating, and air-conditioning equipment. Specify materials and accessories, and install, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration and ventilation equipment. Install branch ductwork, assemble refrigeration piping, apply vacuum to refrigeration systems. Charge refrigeration systems with refrigerant and conduct tests on refrigeration systems. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the following equipment: Window Air Conditioners (WAC), Portable Air Conditioners, Air Coolers, Mini and Multi Splits, Fans, Exhaust Fans, Air Curtains, Water Coolers and Purifiers, Refrigerators, Air Filters, Droplet Eliminators, Dampers, and Ice Machines. * Install piping and drains * Interconnect evaporator and condenser units * Interpret standards and procedures for equipment installation * Mark positions (or installation locations) of branch ducts * Assemble and secure components (ducts) * Connect air regulating dampers * Install supply and return grilles * Apply thermal insulation to branch ducts and piping * Seal connection joints * Level and secure piping and equipment * Weld pipes and fittings * Perform pre-cleaning of piping * Cap and pressurize piping with nitrogen * Monitor gauge pressure * Connect elastic vibration joints * Be responsible for Health and Safety, and implement the standards, procedures, and guidelines of the Health and Safety Management System Requirements: Relevant work experience. Minimum Education: High School Diploma (Secondary Education)
