**Summary:** The Advanced Materials Business Unit has a multidisciplinary team of qualified and market-recognized professionals, and offers extensive laboratory infrastructure for conducting R&D&I, technological services, and testing/analysis. Its activities range from mathematical, physical, and phenomenological modeling to pilot-scale experimentation. Concepts of Industry 4.0 or Advanced Manufacturing are consistently applied to developed projects. The unit also encompasses the development of technological routes for obtaining secondary raw materials from waste and residues, primarily based on the circular economy concept. The teams and laboratory infrastructure of the unit are organized into four laboratories: Corrosion and Protection Laboratory (LCP), Cellulose, Paper and Packaging Laboratory (LCPE), Lightweight Structures Laboratory (LEL), and Metallurgical Processes Laboratory (LPM). In this context, this opportunity aims to fill a Mid-level Researcher position with experience in polymer and composite additive manufacturing to work at the Lightweight Structures Laboratory at IPT in São José dos Campos. **Description of Activities:** * Conduct research related to the development of structures and meta-structures through additive manufacturing techniques; * Collaborate with other researchers in developing research and development activities related to polymer and composite additive manufacturing; * Draft technical reports; * Write scientific articles; * Plan research and development projects; * Hold technical meetings with clients. **Job Requirements:** **Basic Qualifications:** **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering, Mechanical Technology.
