Job Summary: Develop Flight Control Laws and System Logic for Embraer's Commercial Aviation Fly-By-Wire flight controls, including activities such as system design, analysis, testing, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and support for production line items and simulators. Flight test support and technical discussions with certification authorities **About the Team:** * Development of Flight Control Laws and System Logic for Embraer's Commercial Aviation Fly\-By\-Wire flight controls. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your Day-to-Day Will Include:** * Your day-to-day will involve activities related to the development and support of Flight Control Laws and System Logic for Embraer's Commercial Aviation Fly\-By\-Wire (FBW) flight controls. These include: * Design, analysis, and testing of Flight Control Laws; * Design, analysis, and testing of System Logic, such as system monitors; fault detection and isolation; redundancy management; channel synchronization; indications and alerts; * Development of Fly\-By\-Wire functions in accordance with ARP and DO processes for critical embedded systems; * MATLAB/Simulink modeling and simulation of Fly\-By\-Wire functions integrated with the aircraft; * Development of tests and analysis of their results to verify requirements for all embedded software implementations; * Support of flight and simulator tests; * Technical discussions with certification authorities (ANAC, EASA, FAA, TCCA, etc); * Support for production line and fleet items, including interactions with operators; * Support for Full Flight simulators. **Requirements and Qualifications** **To meet this challenge, you must have:** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (degree certificate or diploma required); * Active CREA registration or documentation to obtain it; * Intermediate English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking; * Candidate must demonstrate experience in programming and dynamic system modeling using MATLAB/Simulink; * Experience with processes based on ARP 4754, DO\-178, and DO\-331 standards. **You Will Stand Out If You Have:** * Experience in multidisciplinary engineering projects, especially in the aerospace environment * Python programming skills * Familiarity with ARP 4754, DO\-178, and DO\-331 standards **Additional Information** On-site work model in São José dos Campos/SP. **Benefits:** * Life Insurance * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Vaccination Benefit * Pharmacy Benefit * Wellhub * Multi-Benefits Card * On-site Cafeteria * PLR (Profit and Results Sharing) * Private Pension Plan * Cooperative * EMpower (internal training and development platform) Need support with the Gupy platform?
