Job Summary: Assist in food production and pre-preparation, ensuring food hygiene and safety, under the guidance of chefs and nutritionists. Key Highlights: 1. Direct assistance in meal preparation for patients and staff. 2. Focus on food hygiene and occupational safety. 3. Team integration in the kitchen under supervision. Perform food pre-preparation for patients, companions, and staff according to instructions from chefs and Nutrition Technicians; sanitize utensils; record equipment temperatures; comply with food hygiene and occupational safety standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assist chefs in meal preparation, adhering to food hygiene standards, previously specified menu items for patients and staff, and the production schedule; * Prepare coffee for breakfast and evening meals for patients, and coffee dispensers for staff; * Assist in meal preparation by washing, peeling, sorting, chopping, or grinding ingredients, and preparing simple desserts under supervision, as needed; * Perform cleaning of utensils and departmental equipment, either manually at sinks or using dishwashers; * Collect food samples for microbiological analysis; * Perform other duties related to the position when requested by supervisors. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed elementary education; The **SPDM** \- Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925, dated 03/04/1966; No. 40\.103, dated 05/17/1962; and No. 8\.911, dated 07/30/1970\. The Municipal Hospital Dr. José de Carvalho Florence provides 100% free SUS services. **History** Municipal Hospital Dr. José de Carvalho Florence began operations in 1978 with the inauguration of its Emergency Unit, then named “Dr. Carlino Rossi Emergency Unit”. Due to increasing demand and the need for continuity of emergency care, the Surgical Center was inaugurated in 1988, and in 1990, the first ward was built to support the Emergency Unit, enabling the unit’s first clinical and surgical inpatient admissions. In 1995, the hospital was further expanded with the construction of two additional wards and the Obstetric Center. In 2004, another expansion added one more ward to the hospital complex. This unit was named “Dr. Campoy Clinic”. In 2005, the latest surgical clinic was inaugurated, and the following year—concluding this phase of the master plan—the Outpatient Department was opened. In the same year, specifically on July 25, 2006, the SPDM – Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine assumed management of the Municipal Hospital Dr. José de Carvalho Florence, with the objective of operating and delivering health services and activities at the facility.
