




Job Summary: The professional will work within an engineering team to develop, detail, and certify Landing Gear Systems, ensuring performance, improvement, and quality. Key Highlights: 1. Management of flight/laboratory tests and component qualification. **About the Department:** * The department is responsible for developing new products in commercial aviation landing gear, wheel, tire, and brake system technologies. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your Day-to-Day Will Include:** * Working within an engineering team to develop, detail, and certify Landing Gear Systems; * Maintaining alignment with the department’s vision and strategy, consistent with the company’s overall objectives; * Serving as an engineer supporting both produced aircraft and new projects; * Applying deep technical discipline knowledge, analytical thinking, and engineering experience to execute product development policies/strategies; * Analyzing and approving product specifications, design requirements, technical evaluations, cost estimates, and risk assessments of potential suppliers for final selection; * Interacting with certification authorities through certification plans and performing activities related to certifying authorities; * Ensuring performance, design improvement, delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and departmental productivity goals; * Managing preparation, execution, and evaluation of flight or laboratory test results, as well as component and equipment qualification; * Preparing Safety and Reliability analyses and reports in accordance with system certification requirements. **Requirements and Qualifications** **To Meet This Challenge, You Must Have:** * Completed undergraduate degree (diploma or graduation certificate required) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering; * Advanced English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking; * Active CREA registration or documentation required to obtain it; * Practical experience in hydro-mechanical systems and/or valves, mechanisms, and hydro-mechanical system modeling; **You Will Stand Out If You Have:** * Experience in development, testing, and certification of aircraft landing gear systems; * Experience in aircraft landing gear and oleo-pneumatic shock absorbers; * Experience in aircraft brake systems; * Experience in ground directional control systems; * Experience in systems engineering and requirements management tools; * Experience in qualification procedures for aerospace equipment. **Additional Information** On-site work model in São José dos Campos / SP. **Benefits:** * Life Insurance * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Vaccination Benefit * Pharmacy Benefit * Wellhub * Multi-Benefit Card * On-site Cafeteria * Profit Sharing Program (PLR) * Private Pension Plan * Cooperative * EMpower (internal training and development platform) Need support with the Gupy platform?
