Job Summary: Data Engineering Lead to guide the team responsible for building and evolving our data platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and data quality. Key Highlights: 1. We are seeking a Data Engineering Lead to guide the team responsible for building and evolving our data platform. This leadership role is critical to ensuring the scalability, reliability, and quality of our data ecosystem, supporting functions such as Product, Growth, BI, Analytics, Machine Learning, and operations. You will operate hands\-on when necessary, but primarily serve as both a technical and managerial reference, helping the team deliver excellence aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Lead, develop, and support the Data Engineering team, fostering technical growth and autonomy. * Define and evolve the data architecture (lake/warehouse/lakehouse), with focus on scalability, performance, and cost efficiency. * Ensure the development and maintenance of robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and data delivery (batch and streaming). * Standardize engineering best practices: version control, testing, observability, documentation, SLAs/SLOs, CI/CD, and data governance. * Collaborate closely with Data Analytics, Data Science, and product teams to ensure data is reliable and useful. * Participate in roadmap definition, demand prioritization, and team capacity planning. * Ensure compliance with LGPD and internal data security policies. * Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives across processes, tools, and data culture. **REQUIREMENTS** * Solid experience in Data Engineering, working with production data pipelines and platforms. * Proven experience leading technical teams (formally or as a strong technical reference). * Proficiency in SQL and Python. * Knowledge of IaC (Terraform). * Experience using Airflow as an orchestration tool. * Practical knowledge of data modeling (dimensional, relational, or lakehouse). * Experience with AWS cloud environments and data services (e.g., Databricks). * Familiarity with data quality practices, monitoring, and observability. * Knowledge of visualization tools (Metabase, Power BI, Superset). * Understanding of lakehouse architectures. **BENEFITS:** * Health insurance (Bradesco, Policlin, or Santa Casa) * Dental plan (Uniodonto) * On-site restaurant at Quero with delicious lunch * Education Support: Waiver of pre\-enrollment fees for Quero Bolsa courses, 100% discount on UFBRA online undergraduate programs, and free access to the Allevo platform for professional development. * PLR (Profit Sharing Plan) based on individual and company goals * Psychotherapy support * Birthday day off * Wellhub * Extended maternity leave * Extended paternity leave
