Team leadership and continuous process improvement **Job Description:** ️ **Position: Operations Manager** Karter Lubrificantes is looking for an Operations Manager with strong experience in planning and industrial management, an execution-oriented profile, and clear focus on cost control, operational efficiency, and results. This professional will play a strategic role and, above all, be hands-on—leading daily operations and ensuring performance, productivity, and operational discipline. **About the Role** You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing Karter’s industrial operations, ensuring achievement of production targets, deadlines, quality, safety, and operational performance. You will act strategically, connecting key business areas and ensuring end-to-end process excellence. **How This Role Fits at Karter** The Operations Manager is a central position for Karter’s sustainability and growth. Your work ensures integration between production and support functions, promoting efficiency, standardization, waste reduction, and high operational performance. **Responsibilities** * Manage and execute operations across Planning, PCP (Production Control and Planning), Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Processes; * Directly participate in operational planning and productive capacity assessment; * Ensure adherence to the production plan with focus on deadlines, cost, and efficiency; * Control and reduce operational costs by identifying waste and inefficiencies; * Monitor daily performance indicators (costs, productivity, losses, and efficiency); * Implement continuous improvements, process standardization, and operational discipline; * Lead teams with focus on execution, results, and performance; * Ensure integration between production and support functions; * Support audits, quality indicators, and legal requirements; * Ensure occupational safety practices and a culture of operational excellence. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related fields) preferred; * Solid experience (minimum 5 years) as Operations Manager or in similar roles; * Experience in industrial operations and supply chain; * Strong background in operational planning and management; * Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel and performance indicator analysis; * Experience in the industrial, chemical, or lubricants sector is desirable; * Strong leadership ability, strategic vision, and decision-making skills. **Desired Profile** * Practical, analytical, and execution-oriented profile; * Strong ownership mindset and focus on cost reduction; * Organized, operationally disciplined, and urgency-aware; * Firm, approachable leadership style focused on performance; * Ability to make quick and accurate decisions. **Why Work at Karter?** At Karter, the Operations Manager plays an essential role in building an efficient, safe, and sustainable operation.
