Description: Role in the company: Serve as a Business Intelligence Analyst, responsible for developing dashboards, analytical reports, and data transformation processes (ETL) using Power BI, Power Query, and SQL. This professional must be capable of understanding client needs, performing data discovery, and proposing key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyses that support decision-making. Additionally, they are expected to contribute to designing efficient data models and promoting best practices in data visualization. Responsibilities: Connect to more complex data sources (SharePoint, Databricks, APIs, cloud platforms in general). Write intermediate-level SQL queries involving JOINs, CASE statements, subqueries, and CTEs. Create custom expressions and functions in the M language. Optimize Power Query transformations for performance. Build complex relationships (inactive, bidirectional). Develop medium-complexity DAX measures, performing calculations for filtering and context modification. Apply conditional formatting and create reports with hierarchies and drill-through functionality. Manage permissions, Row-Level Security (RLS), and applications in Power BI Service. Create and utilize Dataflows, shared and optimized Datasets. Collaborate with data architects and data engineers on projects involving Data Lakes and cloud-based data pipelines. Mentor junior professionals and suggest improvements to models and processes. Work within Azure and Microsoft Fabric cloud environments, performing basic to intermediate configuration of components and services. Requirements: Experience with Power BI, SQL, and cloud platforms (Azure). Knowledge of Data Lake, Dataflows, Datasets, and Premium/Fabric capabilities. Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric. Hard Skills: Power BI (Power Query, M language, DAX, and visualization). Power BI Service (publishing, scheduled refreshes, permissions, applications, Dataflows). SQL. Proficiency in data modeling.
