Internal Controls Analyst

A technology company, Microsoft and LinkedIn partner headquartered in Barueri, São Paulo, is hiring an Internal Controls Analyst. The professional we are seeking will serve as the right-hand person to the area leader and will lead initiatives aimed at strengthening the company's internal controls environment, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and corporate governance best practices. This role carries strategic responsibilities, with a high degree of autonomy, and involves influencing business areas and supporting risk-based decision-making. **Key Responsibilities:** * Plan and execute effectiveness testing of controls, ensuring quality and consistency of evidence; * Serve as the focal point for internal and external audits, coordinating requests and ensuring accurate responses; * Monitor and challenge action plans, ensuring appropriate and timely remediation of deficiencies; * Develop and track key internal controls indicators (KPIs/KRIs); * Prepare executive reports for senior management, including critical analyses and recommendations; * Provide consultative and strategic support to business areas, promoting risk, controls, and compliance culture; * Conduct training sessions and disseminate internal controls best practices across the organization; * Support continuous improvement initiatives, control automation, and governance enhancement. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields; * Solid experience in internal controls, auditing, or compliance; * Knowledge of risk management and process mapping; * Advanced Excel proficiency; * Intermediate/advanced English proficiency is considered a plus; * Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and analytical capability. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Strategic mindset with strong influence ability and business acumen; * Proactivity and ownership mindset, with the ability to anticipate risks and propose solutions; * Ability to work autonomously and make decisions; * Strong results orientation and commitment to deadlines; * High level of organization and attention to detail; * Ability to manage multiple demands and stakeholders; * Collaborative spirit and ability to develop and guide less experienced professionals. Remuneration: BRL 5,600.00, under CLT employment regime.
