Maintain a clean and organized workplace **Description:** **To be a LABORATORY ASSISTANT, you must have:** Completed high school or currently pursuing a technical course in industrial laboratory fields; Previous experience in an industrial laboratory (e.g., pipe/fitting testing) is desirable; The LABORATORY ASSISTANT (6-month temporary position) will be responsible for: Conducting leakage tests on gas meters according to the Laboratory Management System requirements and/or received instructions, unpacking, sorting, and submerging them in water tanks to verify possible leaks; upon approval, collecting data via barcode scanning, completing production forms, organizing, transporting, and storing them in predefined locations; Completing the scrap reporting form for meters exhibiting leakage during the leakage test; Routing non-conforming materials, leftovers, and process-generated waste to appropriate locations per established procedures; Keeping the immediate supervisor informed of activity progress and encountered difficulties to support decision-making and necessary actions; Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workplace, machines, and/or equipment used; Complying with company policies, quality standards, and occupational safety regulations; Performing additional duties of similar nature and complexity as assigned to the position, adhering to occupational safety and quality standards and respecting the scope of responsibilities, as required by the department and/or requested by the immediate supervisor; 2512100202181911458
