Promote technical growth within the team and engineering best practices We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer (Mid-level or Senior) to join our technology team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complete web applications (backend + frontend), APIs, and distributed services that support critical business operations. **What will be your mission on the Development team?** * Develop web applications using Ruby on Rails; * Build and maintain scalable APIs and services; * Implement and maintain asynchronous processing using background jobs; * Develop server-driven interfaces using Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus); * Work with real-time communication via WebSockets (ActionCable); * Participate in platform architectural decisions; * Integrate Rails systems with the company’s .NET services; * Deploy artifacts to existing environments; * Promote technical growth within the team and engineering best practices. **Basic Requirements:** * Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails; * Experience with PostgreSQL; * Experience with Rails Migrations and data modeling; * Experience developing REST APIs; * Knowledge of asynchronous processing (e.g., Solid Queue); * Knowledge of WebSockets in the Rails ecosystem (ActionCable). **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * Integration with .NET services (Web API / Worker Service); * Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and design patterns; * Experience with messaging and distributed processing. * Frontend: Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus), Bootstrap, Sass, PostCSS (autoprefix), bundling with esbuild + cssbundling, React and Redux; * DevOps Infrastructure: Docker, AWS (ECS and EC2), and concepts of continuous deployment and containers. **Additional Information:** * Fully on-site position — Fortaleza (Downtown) office; * Contract type: PJ (individual contractor); * Health insurance; * Paid time off; * Variable compensation (bonus). **Join this growing team!**
