Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams that build excellent products and contribute to our growth, we are seeking an Executive Automation Manager to join our team in Sorocaba. Reporting to the Director of IT, this role involves: Driving digital transformation by leading the convergence of IT and OT within the manufacturing ecosystem. This position is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining intelligent automation and IIoT solutions that enable data\-driven decision making, operational efficiency, and predictive maintenance across manufacturing plants. Key daily responsibilities:* Lead the design and implementation of cloud\-based IIoT and automation architectures using platforms such as Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, or Google Cloud IoT. * Architect and maintain scalable Edge\-to\-Cloud solutions for real\-time data collection and analysis. * Define and implement cybersecurity frameworks for industrial control systems, aligned with ISA/IEC 62443 standards. * Integrate PLCs, SCADA, MES, and ERP systems in heterogeneous environments using APIs, OPC UA/DA, MQTT, REST, and middleware. * Develop real\-time control and monitoring systems using TwinCAT, WinCC, FactoryTalk, Node\-RED, Python, and Structured Text. * Customize and maintain dashboards and digital twins on IIoT platforms such as Siemens MindSphere, AVEVA PI, PTC ThingWorx, and Ignition. * Manage the full lifecycle of automation projects, from concept, design, proof\-of\-concept, and pilot through to global implementation. * Prepare detailed technical documentation (SOPs, P\&IDs, electrical diagrams, network architecture, redlines). * Collaborate with IT, Control Engineering, Cybersecurity, Maintenance, and Process teams. * Configure and troubleshoot HMI, IIoT gateways, SCADA, and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, IO\-Link). * Conduct predictive maintenance and process improvements using data analytics and anomaly detection models. * Ensure high availability and performance of critical automation infrastructure. * Perform other related and/or inherent duties associated with your work processes. Required Experience to Join Our Team:* Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus. * 10+ years of hands\-on experience in industrial automation, system integration, and control system design. * Proven success implementing IIoT and Smart Factory technologies in manufacturing environments. * Strong command of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA/DA, MQTT, Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP). * Experience configuring PLCs (Siemens S7/TIA, Rockwell ControlLogix) and SCADA systems. * Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases, telemetry, and event\-driven architectures. * Deep understanding of ISA\-95, Industry 4\.0, and digital thread concepts. * Knowledge of Node\-RED and FlowFuse. * Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, sensor calibration, actuator control, and signal conditioning. * Extensive experience in programming, commissioning, and optimizing PLC/HMI/SCADA systems. * Advanced/Fluent English Desired Qualifications:* Certifications in Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Azure IoT, AWS IoT, or Cisco Industrial Networking. * Strong hands\-on experience scripting/programming in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C/C\+\+, Structured Text, or Ladder Logic. * Practical knowledge of Edge Computing, real\-time data streaming (Kafka, MQTT Sparkplug), and time\-series databases (InfluxDB, OSIsoft PI). * Understanding of IT/OT network segmentation, firewalls, VLANs, and ICS/SCADA security best practices. * Solid knowledge of SMT. * Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Git, Jenkins). * Willingness to travel.
