Description: As basic requirements, you must have: * High School Diploma * Valid CBSP Course Certificate * Valid Well Control Introductory Level Course Certificate You stand out if you have: * Offshore experience in drilling units * Monitor the weight, viscosity, pH, and solid content of drilling fluid. Report any irregularities to the Supervisor. * Understand the effects that various chemical additives have on drilling fluid properties and conditions. * Monitor mud pumps and mud tanks during operations. * Report to the Driller any unexplained rise/fall in tank level. * Participate in pre\-job meetings with the drilling crew regarding all non\-routine drilling operations. * Check and monitor machinery oil levels in areas such as the mud pump compartment, mud processing area, and change or add oil when necessary. * Maintain daily records of drilling chemicals and mud materials. Locate mud pumps, mud tanks, and lines with valves as required. * Ensure that given instructions are fully understood and complied with. * Perform daily maintenance on all mud mixing and mud pumping equipment. * Ensure that work permit and isolation procedure are followed. 2510140202261748992
