If you are eager to learn from us and perform detailed, principled work, this is the place for you!! **Responsibilities and Duties** The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen, pantries, and utility areas of the hotel restaurant, ensuring appropriate conditions of hygiene and food safety for food preparation and service. * Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, cutlery, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. * Keep countertops, floors, walls, trash bins, and storage areas consistently clean and disinfected according to health surveillance standards. * Organize cleaned materials safely and functionally for immediate use by the kitchen team. * Properly sort and dispose of waste, adhering to the hotel’s recycling and sustainability guidelines. * Assist in restocking and controlling cleaning supplies and utensils. * Comply with Food Safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination. * Support the kitchen team with simple operational tasks whenever necessary. * Follow sustainable practices and contribute to maintaining ISO 14001 certification. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed elementary education; Previous experience in pantry/kitchen/cleaning roles; Basic knowledge of good food handling practices; Agility, organization, attention to cleanliness, and teamwork. **Additional Information** Position located in João Pessoa Work schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off — 3:00 PM to 11:20 PM Meals provided on-site Unimed Fortaleza health plan with co-payment Dental plan Transportation allowance Life insurance A work environment that values employee sustainability and well-being At **Verdegreen**, every stay is a unique experience defined by hospitality, care, and respect for people and nature.
