**JOB DESCRIPTION:** Responsible for assisting in the assembly of reducers and motorreducers; leak testing and run-in testing; motor coupling; operating mechanical lathes; recording assembly data; handling materials; and other similar activities. **Responsibilities and Duties** Under supervision, assemble reducers and motorreducers (of smaller size/complexity), verifying assembly orders and work instructions, checking parts, codes, technical drawings, shaft sides, oil levels, input and output positions, using required tools and equipment to perform assembly, comply with quality standards, and achieve established targets. Perform/assist in leak testing, checking the assembly checklist, using compressed air and/or water tanks, identifying and recording leaks and/or performing oil filling, to forward units to technical assistance and/or run-in testing. Perform/assist in run-in testing, verifying assembly orders, checking measurements, nameplates, accessories, output positions, and reducer orientation, using jigs and coupling motors, adjusting and conducting tests, identifying and recording inconsistencies, to forward units to subsequent processes and/or rework. Perform motor coupling, verifying assembly orders, reducers, motors, and junction box orientation, using jigs and executing the process, then making units available to the painting department. Assist in operating mechanical lathes, performing adjustments on parts to meet the assembly team's requirements. Record assembly data, logging name, date, quantities, productive and non-productive times, rejected parts and reasons, to provide information for statistical control of the assembly process. Handle materials using manual carts, hoists, electric pallet trucks, and/or overhead cranes. Keep immediate supervisor informed about activity progress, requesting machine maintenance, clarifying doubts, and/or suggesting corrective actions for identified issues. Dispose of waste correctly according to internal procedures. Comply with company, quality, and occupational safety standards and procedures. Keep the workplace, as well as machines and/or equipment used, clean and organized.
